A large and imposing French 2nd Empire figured mahogany pedestal desk. With good ormolu appliqués to the front, back and sides. Excellent quality throughout and finished to the back so can be used away from the wall. With its original tooled leather top. All in very good condition, with leather covered slides to each side to accommodate extra papers etc.
