A fine quality burr walnut writing table by Gillows of Lancaster. Sitting on fluted , tapering legs terminating in original brass casters, with two drawers and original tooled leather to the top. There is the unusual feature of a recessed lift up inkwell inset. All a wonderful warm colour including the leather top, and all the fine quality synonymous with this famous firm of cabinet makers.
