A wonderful quality French writing table or bureau plat , dating to the turn of the century. In the Louis XVI style with three deep oak lined drawers, and pull out slides to the sides, with applied ormolu swag decoration and mouldings. Can be used in the centre of a room having dummy drawers to the rear. There is the original gilt tooled leather to the top. All in excellent condition and a wonderful colour.
The writing table comes with it's original matching desk chair in leather, but table can be purchased on it's own.
