An elegant and practical French writing table , dating to the 19th Century. In the Louis XVI taste with one large drawer flanked by two smaller oak lined drawers with a leather topped writing surface all sitting on fluted tapering legs with brass mounts. This table has dummy drawers to the rear so can be used in the centre of a room if required, there are also leather lined slides to the sides if extra space is needed. All recently cleaned and waxed, and in good quality mahogany.
