A brass bound Camphorwood chest or box, nicely patinated and good colour, dating to the late 19th Century, would work well as a coffee table or storage trunk. Camphorwood has a wonderful smell, reminiscent of white pepper and was used to store clothes and fabrics as Camphorwood resists moth and insects.
